Our Pastor
I grew up in the Detroit area northern suburbs, in the city of Troy. I attended St. Paul Lutheran Church and School in Royal Oak, Michigan. My three brothers, my sister and I were all baptized there as were my parents and many of my uncles, aunts, and cousins. I was there from 1st grade through 8th grade. I went to High School at Troy High and excelled in math and the sciences. I lettered in football and wrestling and was the captain of the wrestling team. I graduated college from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. My major was chemistry and minor in mathematics. I started as a Research and Development chemist and later had a successful career in industry as a process engineer concerned with ultrahard coatings for high speed machining.Â
I have always felt that my true path in life was to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I my later years this became a very strong feeling with me. I have served our Lord 7 years at St. Paul Lutheran and 1 year at Grace Lutheran in St. Petersburg, Florida in the area of evangelism and outreach. During these years as chairman of these boards I also served on the church council. I have attended Concordia Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity degree. I served as Associate Pastor at Grace Lutheran Church and School. I am a Stephen Leader and Stephen Minister.
